Prefabricated Mechanical Room Solutions for Warehouse Owners

You deserve the quality and competency you remember from days ago. Behold, the Blueprint Cage provides you access to industrial grade equipment at direct purchase pricing.

Turn-key energy-efficient plumbing, heating & cooling “cages”

Reduce Fuel Bills and Greenhouse Fossil Fuel Emissions

Low-Temperature Radiant Floor Heating Is Ideal for Warehouses:

  • Low temperatures for radiant heating dramatically reduces fossil fuel usage
  • Employees are more comfortable with the heat on the floor than up in the ceiling
  • Heating the structure instead of the air minimizes heat loss when bay doors are opened

Using air as your heat transfer medium can promote airborne illness. While heating the mass of a structure is more comfortable and energy-saving.

How to get started on your energy retrofit or new construction project? Provide us with all the information you can regarding the warehouse and existing mechanical room:

  • A few years of fuel bills
  • Still pics and video
  • Any drawings or plans
  • Description of any operating problems

We will provide a smart design to reduce your energy costs and lower carbon emissions to the atmosphere. We will propose a design-build solution that may incorporate alternative energies as the primary source of fuel such as:

Air to Water Heat Pumps

Geothermal

Solar Panels

Testimonials

Dear Victor J.,

I’ve written this recommendation of your work to share with other potential customers.

If your imagination will take you there, try to imagine an artistic genius who has chosen for his principle media plumbing, heating, and hydronics. As crazy as that sounds, that would be Victor Hernandez!!! I met Victor several years ago when I was doing research for the construction of my dream house. My goal was to do everything right – state of the art materials, energy efficiency, etc. I was seeking to install radiant heat and a snowmelt system for my driveway and was not satisfied with the costs or the competency of my local contractors. From the other side of the country, Victor offered to build me a fully functional boiler room in the form of a metal cage that could be installed under a workbench in my basement. He made a similar contraption to manage all of my internal plumbing and water filtration. Both of these devices are functional works of art. Victor measures to the millimeter, plans for every contingency, and meticulous documents his work both in print and in video. Victor’s S.W.A.T. team from Seattle came out and installed the equipment for me and have supported it remotely for several years. Whenever guests come over, I show them my kitchen recycling chute first, then they admire the hand-made parquet floors. Then for the final treat, I take them to the basement to show them my heating and plumbing systems. I might also add that Victor is a great person and lots of fun to work with.

Still running strong. I did notice an increase in propane usage this past winter and have it on my list to get an HVAC contractor here for a boiler tune-up this summer. I have made a couple repairs on my own in the last 20 years – replaced a couple circulators and needed to replace a component in the boiler.

My cage system has continued to function perfectly with no attention or service since 2005. I highly recommend Blueprint Cages for low fuel consumption and high comfort levels.

I love the hydronic systems that Blueprint Cages has built for me over the 20 years I’ve worked with him. In 4 different homes, Vic has created excellent systems that have each one the most comfortable they’ve ever been. His work is masterfully designed and expertly constructed and have provided an excellent long term investment I recommend him without reservation

Our cage was installed in 2005 and works perfectly with little to no maintenance, except for one pump replacement (I have 3 pumps). We have a 3,300sq ft house that is on the east slope of Capitol Hill, Seattle, where there is very little light Nov-Feb. Our heating bill was never over 300/mo until the City jacked up the rates 25%. Anything less than 10c/sq ft is very good imo, judging by what others are paying with much newer systems. Our system uses a 75 gal HWH for heat and one for potable. Without 2 teenagers taking hour-long showers, it is possible that the gas bill would be 10-20% lower.
